I am writing this with the hopes the family of Dr. Super sees it even though some time has already passed.... I was a patient referred to Dr. Super after dealing with infertility for 3 years. After many years of repeat tests, doctors not listening, and tears.. your loved one instantly gave me relief, believed my symptoms, and instantly took action.. because of him, we have our sweet son.. I can't describe the relief we felt after being referred to him. He was and still is the best doctor I have ever encountered... because he cared so deeply. I am so sorry for your incredible loss. I just wanted to share the difference he made in our lives.

My dad recently passed away this past July. He always told me the same story about the day I was born and how my doctor’s name was doctor Super. He said right when I was born, Dr. Super looked at me and said welcome to the world little one. I was sitting here thinking about all the conversations I’ve had with my dad and that just randomly came to me, so I decided to search up Dr. Super. I’m sorry to see that he’s passed, thank you for delivering me 26 years ago and for giving my dad that great memory. My condolences go out to everyone who loves Dr. Super, he seemed like he was a ‘Super’ great guy.

I am completely in shock as I just learned about this! I was referring my daughter to Dr. Super (he was on stand-by to deliver her 24 years ago), and was looking up his phone number for her.  He was ABSOLUTEY the BEST of any physicians I've ever had!  Second to none!  So, so sad, to say the least!  My condolences to his family, and our community.  He will never be replaced!

I moved to Florida in April of 2022 so I just found out about the passing of Dr. Super. He was my doctor for 24 years! He was an amazing and kind human being. I’m so sad. Sending condolences and prayers to his family.

I just found out tonight. I'm so sad about this. He delivered my 2nd daughter, and had my husband  and I laughing through the delivery and recovery. I will pray for his family and friends.

Dr. Super was extraordinarily compassionate and caring.  I always knew I was in the best hands under his care.  His upbeat and positive attitude was contagious.  My thoughts and prayers for his family and friends, and those who will miss him most.  Even being my caregiver, he will be missed.  Our loss is Heaven's gain.  God took another sweet angel home.  He was truly and genuinely a good human being.  That is not always so easy to come by.

Dr. Super was truly a gift to this world, and my husband and I are forever grateful to have had our lives and family touched by him. He kept us calm during the emergency birth of our first child and gave us hope and patience when we encountered a complication during pregnancy with our second child. Dr. Super will always be part of our family’s story and a little piece of him will always be with us. We cannot imagine our world without him being there in those critical moments. We are eternally grateful to him. May he Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Super's death.  While he was the best doctor I ever had, he was also an empathetic and kind human being who made life better for everyone he encountered.  I will miss our annual discussions about current science and family affairs.

Dr Super was truly Super! He was my OB for 20+ years and delivered both of babies. He traded hospital days with another Dr at Mercy to deliver baby #2 and she decided to arrive at 2:30am. Guess who was walking through the door, Dr Super! I told him to go back to bed, and his response was he was “I was already up letting the new puppy out, we  recently rescued from a shelter”.

I am just learning of Dr. Supers passing and I am so very sorry to hear this news. His last name is very fitting, he was super! He was so kind and really cared for his patients, which is the reason both myself and my daughter chose him from our healthcare. My condolences to his entire family and his office staff. In 1998 when I was 29, I found out I was expecting my first (and only) child.  I was a patient of Dr. Cannon's.  She was so busy that by my 5th month I started seeing Dr Super at each of my visits.  At the time I remember thinking I had never had a Dr. who seemed like a friend as well as a Dr., which Dr. Cannon and Dr Super both were.  When it came time to deliver, Dr Cannon was out of town and Dr Super was performing a C-Section at another hospital.  I remember the nurses saying he kept calling to tell me to just hang on and he would be there...lol.  Unfortunately, I could only "hang on" for so long and another Dr. ended up delivering my son.  But Dr. Super stopped in right after he was delivered and checked in on me the next day.  Dr. Super also helped me chose my son's name.  It was around my 7th month, and I went in for my monthly appointment.  My son never stayed still and Dr Super had a hard time getting him to stay in one place long enough to hear his heartbeat for more than a couple seconds before he was on the move again.  He asked me what I was going to name my son and I told him I really liked Tanner, but Chase was an option as well.  After his 4th attempt to hear the heartbeat he said, "Name him Chase because I have a feeling that is what you are going to be doing with him most of his life..chasing him! :)  I will always be grateful for the amazing care and compassion you showed me throughout my pregnancy and for all of the years after whenever I would have my yearly visit and you would ask about my son, Chase Matthew :) You will be so very missed by so many.

Dr. Super was such a wonderful physician. He was my Dr. for many many years and I always looked forward to my visits with him. He was so calming and caring. This is him with my youngest born in 2014. He loved each and every baby so much. He had a wonderful gift. The void of his loss will be felt for years to come. For his family, I am so sorry for his tragic loss, thinking of and praying for all of you. 

I am saddened by the loss of Dr. Super. Dr. Super delivered 2 of my 3 children.  He genuinely cared for my health and how my children and family were doing.  The world was a better place with him in it. He will be greatly missed. Thank you for your dedication and compassion. 

Dr. Super always treated me with such kindness and support. I am heartbroken that my favorite doctor has passed away. He truly cared about his patients and in fact he always made me feel loved! My heart breaks for his wife and kids and family. He was an amazing person! I never had kids and he knows why and he helped me so much with that pain. I am so upset! May he Rest In Peace and may his family know how many lives he touched and helped. 


Dr. Super was an amazing physician. He listened to his patients and always was upbeat and cheerful. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. He was there to provide great advice and care for my pregnancy with my twin daughters and my son. He will be very missed!

When I first learned I was expecting in 1999, my former GYN / OB in the Mercy practice was transitioning out of practice to research, and when I called to find a new doctor, they offered up Dr. Super.  I specifically recall them saying he was a DO, and explaining how the training was slightly different than an MD. Upon meeting him I could instantly see the difference.  He loved what he did.  He saw me through a miscarriage, my first pregnancy, and I remember specifically him asking if he could give me a hug before I left the office that date; I was so devastated.  He went on to be there for the births of my 3 subsequent boys.  Every year we would talk about our kids.  Ill never forget the story about one of his kids thinking that if the litter box was good enough for the cat, it was good enough for him too.  Dr Super was just as real as it gets.  My heart aches that he will no longer be able to treat patients like he treated me.  I am certain the practice will feel a loss for quite some time.  (I remember when Rita passed and how sad he was about her.) I hurt the most for his family -his wife and children - who have a void that likely will never be filled the way it was.  Rest in peace Dr. Super.  My prayers are with your family.

Dr Super cared for me during both of my pregnancies and also helped give me guidance when I was diagnosed with severe UC and PSC.  His energetic and cheerful bedside manner brought comfort and security to all of his patients.  We are thinking and praying for all the Super family.  This is such a great loss for many. Dr. Super was an amazing doctor. He was there for my 4 pregnancies, 2 of which resulted in miscarriage. He always wanted to ensure that he would help in every way to help us get the family we wanted. With my last baby, I was thrilled he was able to be there to deliver him. He was tight on time, but he never made you feel that you weren't important. He quickly deliverer Gus, and told us, he "hated to baby and run," but he was needed in surgery. I still laugh about that comment to this day. He was compassionate and always was willing to listen and offer all solutions. I am sorry for your loss. If he treated his patients in this way, I can only imagine how genuine and loving he was to his family.

My husband and I are saddened by the news. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. I came to Dr. Super 14 years ago through a recommendation from a family member and I couldn't have made a better choice! Compassionate, positive, honest, and helpful are only some of the words to describe him. He delivered 3 of my 4 daughters and I will be forever grateful he was there for me.

Only knew Dr Super as his patient, but he had such a Special bedside manner and seemed like a Special person in general. I am very saddened about the news of his death. I have been an RN for 43 years and would put him at the top of my Great doctor list. Prayers for Peace for his family.

Dr. Super was second to none.  I am so heartbroken for him and his family. Such a kind, compassionate, and genuine human being. He will be be incredibly missed by ALL who knew him. He impacted so many lives for the better - including mine. To say no one could fill his shoes is an understatement.

Dr. Super was also my amazing OB-GYN.  He was one of the most compassionate people I had ever met.   I had always told him he was the reason my 28 wk preemie survived and he was the one who helped me keep my faith through it all. I remember before falling asleep (having an emergency C-section) him grabbing my hand and tell me “it’s going to be alright.” With that wonderful smile on his face.  He was helping do God’s work. He will be missed by so many, and he will forever have a place in my families thoughts and his spirit will forever be kept alive. Dr. Super was my doctor for the last 20 years and was always my favorite doctor.  His name couldn't be truer to the doctor he was.  He became my doctor when I had some complications and I had to have surgery.  I had a minor complication from that surgery and he decided that instead of me going to the emergency room that night, that he would meet me at his office and get me taken care of.  What doctor does that?   Fifteen years to the date of his passing, he delivered my daughter.  My pregnancy was full of complications, and he gave me his utmost level of care, .  Ten years ago, he comforted me through my miscarriage.  Then five years ago, he again, gave me the utmost level of care when I had to have major surgery.  He made me laugh when he knew I was nervous about the surgery.  Through the last 20 years of care, he always remembered details about me and my family.  He always listened and answered all my questions.  I always felt like he made time for me, as I'm sure he did for all his patients.  Through the years, I've recommended some of my friends to him and they've always had the same opinion that he is the best doctor.

Dr. Super will be extremely missed and my thoughts are with his family right now.  He was an extraordinary doctor.

I knew Dave as a resident and worked beside him as a surgical tech. He was the most compassionate and honest doctor that I have ever met . RIP you made a huge impact in others lives !!

I had the privilege of knowing Dr. Super in many ways. He delivered my sister when I was 8 years old, he was my personal OB from the time I was 18 until halfway through my pregnancy last year, and he was my coworker at Mercy Labor and Birth. He was the most compassionate doctor who cared for his patients and nurses at the hospital. On behalf of myself and my mom, Kelly Pingleton, we are praying for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. 

Dr. Super was the very best!!! There will never be another who can replace him. I trusted him with my life and all five of my babies he delivered.  I will never find another doctor who I be able to put all my trust into as I did with Dr. Super. I had the privilege of having him deliver my first in 2000 and then my last one 2017.  I cant possibly post all of my kids delivery pics, I would take up way too much room...but i will share one of all five of them with the baby of our family. Rest in Peace Dr. Super you will be missed tremendously.

I worked with Dave for several years when I was with HealthMark Medical.  He came across as one of the most genuine people when I first started working with him.  As time went on, I realized he was indeed an incredible person.  He spoke with such love about his family, patients and colleagues.  I was so impressed that I recommended him as my wife’s GYN…I can recall telling her “if anything happens to you I want Dave taking care of you because he always makes the best decisions with the patients well-being in mind”.   He delivered our 3rd son and even put me to work during the deliver because a stirrup wasn’t working properly.  We didn’t chat as much when I switched jobs but we’d still exchange a text from time to time to see how each other and their families were doing.  I will truly miss Dave, like I’m sure anyone that’s had contact with him.

When I got pregnant with my son I had issues along the way and he always told me that if he had to he could have my son out in 5 minutes. Dr. Super was my OB and the greatest physician I have ever had.   His death was a shock.   Not only was I a patient but I called on his office as a pharmaceutical rep for many years.   He treated reps with dignity and kindness.   He Always spoke about his children and asked about mine. Dr. Super was such an amazing doctor. He had a way of reassuring his patients and offering words of encouragement. He has been my OBGYN for about 25 years. Our first encounter was for a cervical biopsy and he helped  my husband and I process everything we were going through.  He cared for me during 4 of my 5 pregnancies. However, he did not get to deliver any of those four babies. A few came to quickly and the others came when he was not on call. By the last one, we would joke about the odds of him getting to deliver at least one of them. He would ask about each of my kiddos and my husband during our visits. He was always so proud to talk about each of his children. Thank you for sharing your husband and father with so many of us who counted on him to answer all of our questions. I am sure you each had to sacrifice for all of us to have his undivided attention when he was with us. May our Lord and Savior wrap his arms around each of you during this time.

I don't have the words to describe how grateful I am to have called Dr. Super not only my doctor, but also my friend. He saw me through the most challenging times, and he celebrated with me during the happiest times. There is truly no one else like him. 

I said it to him once, but I'll say it again: thank you for everything Dr. Super.  

To Missy, Gabby, Jake, and Max, I am one of many fortunate nurses who worked with Dave and ultimately considered him a friend.  We all knew your names, because his love for you was evident.  I remember him rounding with one of the boys when they were young on a weekend, and he was so patient and proud with him.  He was also part of my pregnancies, and after I left L&D, we'd still stop and catch up when we saw each other.   We talked about how happy we were one winter that our kids were doing well after a few rough health related years, and this year the holidays felt normal.  He really did make you feel like the the only person around.  Intelligent and kind is such a perfect description, Gabby.  We all cannot imagine that he is no longer here, the world is not the same.  So for you who loved him more than anyone, my heart and prayers go out to you.  Thank you for sharing him and the demands his job must have put on your lives.  Prayers will continue for you going forward.  I'm so glad you had the love of this wonderful man.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am very sad to learn of the passing of Dave.  I had the joy of sharing the Thursday night jam with him.  His joy of music and the gentle soul he was, was readily apparent.  My regrets to his lived ones.

       I am still in complete shock from hearing this unbelievable sad news.  Dr. Super was not just an outstanding doctor but an amazing human.  He was the doctor that asked how you were doing, how the family was doing and how the kids were doing.  He only delivered by son (17 years ago) because my 13th year old daughter came to quick and he didn't make it from seeing another patient.  L&D was full, it was a few minutes to midnight and a full moon, he was a little busy to say the least. We still laughed and joked at why she just couldn't have waited another minute or 2.  
        I had the pleasure of working with him when I was pulled to Mother/Baby years ago.  When I went into Pediatric Oncology, he always asked how I was doing and reminded me that I needed to remember to take care of me too when days were heartbreaking.  
I would always ask how his family was and a smile never left his face when talking about them.  He was so proud of each of them.  
        My heart breaks with his wife, children, family and co-workers. Sending tons of love, hugs and prayers to all of you.    

Dr. Super delivered my preemie daughter in 2015. He kept me at ease and confident in the labor and delivery despite her being so early.  He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dr. Super was the epitome of the perfect doctor. When I moved away from St. Louis, I flew in once a year for my annual check up because I didn’t want any other doctor. After a while, I had to find a local doctor and no one ever matched up. Recently, I found an OB who reminded me enough of Dr. Super that I finally feel like I’ll get the level of care Dr. Super gave. He truly was the best and will be missed. My heart broke when I heard the news. Sending my love and condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

I first met dr super as a patient almost 13 years ago, he was the 2nd ob I had ever seen and was so patient with all of my issues and worked endlessly until my problem was solved. I’ll forever be thankful . He also delivered my first first child and I’ll never forget how comfortable he made that experience for me. He was also genuinely one of the kindest people I had ever met. I hope he rests in peace .

Dr. Super was more than just my OBGYN.- he was a compassionate sweet friend who always asked about my family and life.  I drove 2 hours to and from Columbia, Mo so he could still be my doctor and deliver my last child! My thoughts and prayers are with his family especially his children whom he talked about with love and pride!


My heartfelt condolences go out to the Super family. David was my doctor for 23 years.  He delivered both of my daughters and got me through a harrowing surgery that without his meticulous and caring nature would have left me disabled. It’s like yesterday Super Dave was my intern!!! You just know when someone is going to be a great doctor. He was caring inquisitive and went out of his way . Tried to get him to call me by my first name , but always so respectful. No you are always Dr . Chacko my teacher!! Will miss you so much . I have great memories of being an intern at Mercy with Dave (Dr. Super).  He always had a smile and a nice word, even if it had been a rough call night. In practice since then we have referred patients back and forth. He will be missed by so many people.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Dr. Super. When Michael was born with complete kidney failure and started on dialysis right away, Dr. S shared with me how his own daughter was a transplant recipient. He gave me so much hope for Michael. I will never forget when I received a text message from him with his excitement that Michael received his new kidney.  He truly loved what he did and he will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing him with us, as I know his patients growing families took time away from his. You all are in my prayers.  

24 years ago I had a dr. appointment with the new doctor of the practice and I waited 45 minutes for him to come in. Then comes in this young doctor and the first thing I asked him was "are you old enough to be a doctor?" He laughs and tells me he is so sorry I had to wait so long and that I would never have to wait so long for him again. Fast forward years of surgeries and going through cancer and WOW.. I got pregnant and couldn't wait to tell him. The night I delivered my daughter, the hospital called Dr. S out of bed in the middle of the night to come do an emergency csection on me. My world was beyond scary but as my mom said to me (who also saw Dr. Super because didn't everyone?) "just wait until you see THE MAN and you will feel better".  She was correct.  He had a way of making everything around you disappear and made you feel like everything would be just fine.  He delivered both of my kids and guided me through many situations.  The appreciation and care I have for him is endless.
To his family: Thank you for sharing this wonderful man with the rest of us.  Please know that he always talked about how wonderful you all were.  He guided me to correct doctor when my son broke his feet knowing the broken bones from basketball with his kids and then was very proud of my daughter (now 16) when she decided she wanted to be an organ donor in honor of Dr. S daughter.

I was so saddened to hear the news yesterday about Dr. Super. He has been my Doctor for over 20 years and delivered 2 of our 3 kids. He was sick with the Flu with our first born. I actually loved going to the OB so I could talk to him & we’d share stories about our kids, he always made me laugh & gave me reassurance that I was doing a good job as a Mom. He was truly a “Super” Doctor & I’m truly going to miss him. My heart breaks for his wife, children & many other family & friends. Dear Dr. Super's family, friends and colleagues- My thoughts are with you all. He was an amazing physician and I can only imagine how lovely to work with and have in your life. I was heartbroken to hear this news today; please know he will be missed by so many. 

He brought life into this world, took pain away and created miracles.

My first memories of Dave are back when he was still in med school (or maybe in his residency?). He and Missy had an apartment that was basically in the parking lot of the hospital. I adored that tiny hospital-adjacent apartment and I instantly felt so at home there. I think it is because I could just sense the love between Dave and Missy and the happy home they had built, and life they were just starting to build together. I am so sorry for your loss. One of the kindest people!  He delivered our son when he was chief resident.  Dr. Strobach said you are getting a “super” doctor, no pun intended!  When Dr. Strobach retired I switched and sent my daughter to him!  A very special man who brought so much joy to our world!❤️

Dr. Super was one of the best doctors I've ever had. He was literally the Angel that brought most of my kids into the world.  He will be missed by many!

I loved Dr. Super as much as all of the other people that have already posted on this page. He was an amazing doctor. I never once felt rushed in his presence. We would discuss what books we had both recently read. And I invited him to join me at our book club meetings more than once. As a bunch of my friends saw him too.  We spoke about it at one of our meetings and everyone was like - yes!! We’d love to have him join us. Want a huge loss for everyone who knew him. My heart breaks for his family (both biological and work). Love and hugs to all of you and prayers for peace in your hearts going up now.

Please know that Dr. Super is in our family's hearts and prayers.  I am so incredibly sorry to hear about his passing.  I have been a patient of Dr. Super for over 20 years.  He walked with us during our infertility struggles, comforted me and supported us through the loss of our first daughter, Leah, when she suddenly passed away at 35 weeks pregnant.  He encouraged my husband and I, and took amazing care of me, through our subsequent pregnancies with our rainbows...Zack who is now 11 and Kaylee who is 9.  Every yearly appointment, Dr. Super asked to see pictures of the kids, laughed at the stories I would tell him about the kids, always mentioned our angel, and truly made me feel like a friend, not a patient.  Because of him, we have our amazing children and I am forever indebted & grateful.  Rest in Peace, Dr. Super 

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Super's passing.  He has been my wonderful OB/GYN for over 25yrs.  He delivered all 4 of my children, my first being twins.  He always made me feel comfortable and at ease.  He will be greatly missed.  My condolences to his wife and children.   Hugs and prayers!

17 years ago today, Dr. Super delivered our oldest son.  I clearly remember him making a joke about the pressure I was feeling during the C-section was him jumping up on a step stool to perform the surgery.

We are so very sorry to learn of his passing and hope that his family receives grace and support through the incredible memories and life that had with him.

Dr. Super delivered my daughter Rosella in 2018. He's cared for me and other women in my family for 20 years. Sending prayers and love to his family. 

Dr. Super was an amazing doctor!! He delivered my little guy in Feb of 2020 and it was a very smooth delivery. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor who was very caring and compassionate. May your soul Rest In Peace and I would like to give my condolences to Dr. Supers family. 

Dr. Super was a one of a kind physician. He delivered me as a baby, he helped my mom through her troubles with getting pregnant again, and he inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. He will be truly missed but will continue to be an inspiration to me for the rest of my life.

Dr. Super holds a special place in my heart.  He was truly a wonderful surgeon to work with in the OR, and I know that my peers and I enjoyed working with him at Mercy.  

Dr. Super has also been helpful with my husband and I throughout our struggle with infertility.  After being diagnosed with Endometriosis and throughout the years of struggle we had, Dr. Super remained a positive light and gave us the encouragement, even though we thought this might be impossible.   Now that my husband and I are expecting our first child, I wish we could share this exciting journey with Dr. Super as well, he was a huge part of our journey and will continue to be.  
My heart goes out to Dr. Super’s wife, children, family and friends.  May we keep his legacy forever in our hearts and minds.  

I am heartbroken to hear of Dr. Super's passing!!  I wanted to reach out here to let his family know what he meant to me.  I tragically lost my Dad 9 years ago & the positive comments & stories his friends & co-workers shared with me & my family have meant & helped us so much, so I hope this can ease some of your pain if only a little!

Dr. Super truly lived up to his name & beyond!  I have been a patient of Dr. Super's for 21 years.  He was the best, most compassionate, truly caring Dr. I have ever been to.  You weren't just a number or patient to him, I considered him my friend & I told him & others many times I wish he could be my everything doctor.  He always knew who you were & about your family.  He took me on as a patient when I was at the end of my 1st trimester of pregnancy as a high-risk patient carrying twins.  I started with him after seeing a specialist & didn't want to go back to my previous OB-GYN because I was only a number to that doctor.  From my first appointment with him I knew we were in good hands!  Dr. Super was wonderful through my pregnancy & delivery, even my husband at the time loved him, he called him Dr. Terrific!  
Several years ago, I had to have multiple breast biopsies & was being seen at a Breast Clinic thru Mercy.  Dr. Super reached out to me via MyMercy to let me know he was following what was going on, that he was there for me & to let him know if I had any questions or concerns. I was amazed & comforted that he reached out to me!!  My Aunt, who is a nurse, said, "not many Dr.'s would do that"!  

I have many family members & friends who went to him as well & everyone LOVED him!

Dr. Super you will truly be missed by so many!!  You were one of a kind!!

Dr. Super was truly beloved by me and my family. He was my first, and only, OBGYN. He guided me through my first pregnancy, and delivered my babygirl. During my second pregnancy, when the 10 week ultrasound showed our baby had no heartbeat, he was there. I could not have asked for better care in that dark moment. He was compassionate, professional, strong and sensitive.  Though he was not able to deliver my youngest baby, he saw us through my entire pregnancy, ensuring we both made it to term safely. He brought so much life into this world. His life mattered immensely.
Dr. Super was funny, bright, warm and brilliant. I trusted him wholeheartedly with my care, and the care of my babies. He was truly a light - brightening my day every time I saw him. I hold his family in my heart during this time of profound loss. May his light live on through each of you.

Dave was one of a kind. Working with this beautiful group of people was the best job I will ever have. You will be missed by so many! 

My heart is broken that we lost a great physician and his wife lost a loving  family man.  My first visit with him I just found out I was pregnant. I was a patient of his partner and after I met him I made him my doctor. He delivered my youngest son that was 24 years ago.  He always made me feel like I was his only patient, as he did with others.  Mrs.  Super and family my heart goes out to you, I know the grief is unbearable and may you find peace and comfort.

Dr. Super has been my doctor since I was 16 years old. He delivered both of my babies. He was such a wonderful Doctor who always made me feel comfortable and cared for. I'm so sad he passed. His family is in my prayers. He will be missed by so many people!

I worked frequently with Dr. Super on Mother/Baby at Mercy. He also helped umy husband and I in our beginnings of infertility and delivered my son Leo in February 2021. I will forever be grateful for him! He will be missed by the Mercy family. My condolences to his family. 

Dr. Super was an outstanding physician. He treated us with dignity and respect and helped us when no one else would.  Without Dr. Super we wouldn't have had our beautiful daughter. Dr. Super gave us our family. 

He spoke very highly of his wife and children, we want you to know in all that he did he kept his family with him. Our hearts are with you. 

Dave was and continues to be an integral part of our family. He supported his children wholeheartedly with endless patience and love, he encouraged his nieces and nephews the same way, and no matter who he was speaking to, he would always provide advice or his thoughtful insight- family or not. I married into the family back in 2019, and have had the privilege of knowing him since before then. My husband, also Dave’s nephew, looked up to him so highly and went to him for advice on many subjects, however a lot of it would later have to do with body building and playing guitar. William loves his uncle Dave so much, and as soon as he heard the news, retired to go play his guitar.
Dave is a large reason why I got my job with Mercy. He had asked my permission if he could send a letter of recommendation to a place I had applied to work at. I was genuinely surprised, but also not, because if you knew Dave and his beautiful family, you would know that they would do anything they could to help in some way or another. If there was anything he could ever do to help, he would do it in a heartbeat. I think that must have been why he chose to be a physician and surgeon, though- it takes a smart brain, a large heart, and careful hands to do what he has done for so long. He has touched thousands of lives and loved every second of it; and that’s not including the ones while he was in scrubs.
 I have always looked forward to every conversation we had and would have, because Dave always provided such a thoughtful outlook on things. He truly was and continued to be a unique person, loved very much by the entire family. And if you have had the pleasure to know him, you know that it won’t be long before you wish to be his friend. His family misses him dearly, and the after effects of this loss will be felt for a very long time. Rest In Peace, Dave. Certainly, you will be missed by everyone who has known you.

At my daughters baby shower, she was asked who would deliver her baby. We were seated at a table of ladies ages 18 - 70 and as she replied Dr Super all you heard was that’s my doctor ! All the ladies went to Dr Super! My next visit I told Dr Super this and with the biggest grin he replied I am truly blessed. My thought when hearing of him passing was  how blessed I was to have him as a doctor for myself and my daughter! Also blessed  for Dr Super delivered my first grandson! Many prayers for his family during this time of loss. 

I was so very heartbroken to hear of Dr. Super's unexpected passing.  I have been seeing Dr. Super since I was 16, and he was such an amazing man and doctor.  Always caring and kind, always willing to listen, and very comforting when we had a miscarriage with our first pregnancy.  He was such a wonderful doctor to so many of my friends, and he will be dearly missed.  Love and light to your family. 

Dr Super is one of my favorite people. I am so lucky to have had him as a mentor, colleague, friend, and doctor. He has been there for me professionally and personally for the past 16 years.  I would not be who I am today without him. May his memory always be a blessing.
