

Though her education began in a one-room schoolhouse, she eventually attended Washington University in St. Louis. In 1958 she married her husband Meyer Tennenbaum, gaining two beloved stepchildren, Wilma and Ronald, and her two children Carla and Evan.
Dolores was known to everyone in her neighborhood and was the matriarch of her extended family. She regularly attended book and card club, and was known for her hand-painted birthday cards. She continued to play and win at Scrabble even past her 100th birthday.
She was predeceased in 1977 by her husband, Meyer, and in 2012 by her stepson, Ronald Tennenbaum (Enid). She is survived by her children, Carla Fels (Richard) and Evan Tennenbaum (Tamara), stepdaughter, Wilma Gerstein (Harvey), her grandchildren, Molly, Laura, Sarah; Melissa, Elizabeth, Tiffany; Larry, Mindee, Edie; Julie. Matthew, Ilene, and numerous great-grandchildren and great -great-grandchildren.
