Donald Alvin Schlingman

SCHLINGMAN, Donald Alvin, 67 of St. Louis on passed away on March 13 2017. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Schlingman (nee Nisbet) and dear father to Mike (Wendy) Beard, Daniel (Julie) Beard and Don (Anne) Schlingman. Don was the loving grandfather of Michael Beard, Stephen Beard, Danny Beard, Donny Paul Schlingman and Millie Schlingman. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

After high school Don became a firefighter with the Shrewsbury Fire Department and served for 20 years. After retiring from the fire service Don began driving a school bus for the Webster and Kirkwood School Districts. He did this for 25 years until his retirement. Don was a long time member of the Mermac Arnold Elks.

Services: There is a visitation from 4-8 pm, Thursday, March. 16, 2017 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay MO 63125. The funeral service is at 11:30 am on Friday, March. 17, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
