Dorothy "Jean" Wucher, nee Copeland, age 87 of St. Louis, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2017.She is the beloved wife of the late Raymond F. Wucher. They were married October 4, 1952 until Raymond's passing in June of 1996. Jean is the dear mother of Deborah, Michael and Timothy (Lynette) Wucher. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Christopher, Emily, Ryan and Sondra Wucher; beloved sister of Margaret Presson, Harold Copeland, Darrel Copeland, Wilma Lake and Dale Copeland. She was preceded in death by siblings Bernice Dawson, Betty Appleby and Carroll Copeland.
Jean was a member of the South County Church of the Nazarine and she enjoyed drawing and painting.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, Sepetember 18, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation is at funeral home from 3-7 pm Sun. Sept. 17 and from 10 am until time of service on Monday. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
