Belated condolences to the family! Assuming this is the Jean Keating who worked for the Corps of Engineers, she was a colleague of my dad, Ed Mitchell. I was trying to look up some of his work friends as he is ill, and came across this notice online. She was a dear, sweet woman, and my dad spoke fondly of her.  She was always kind and fun to spend time with when dad took me to work with him when I was little, and I remember a hilarious lunch we had after dad retired and I came home to visit from college. 

Today is your special day Aunt Jean, your birthday!  We always celebrated birthdays by going out to lunch just us girls.  Always had a good time, ate good and laughed a lot.  You are missed so much.  Hugs and kisses to you and Uncle Wayne!  love always, Karen

I know mom is back with dad and he has welcomeded his sweetie home.  I always called her mom as she was always there for me to give advice or just listen.   Iwould sleep over and get up to have coffee with mom and dad after he got home from work. 

My best childhood memories were the memorial day parties.  One of the last ones I went to as a teenager mom and Norma got in the pool after most left and started singing songs that's sailor would blush at.   

I will miss her forever

Aunt Jean - we will miss you!  You were the sweetest addition to our family when you married your sweetie, Uncle Wayne.  Always a hug and a kiss from you!  Your smile and soft voice spoke volumes!  We know God has received a beautiful angel.  Let Him take care of you and Uncle Wayne.  We love you and will keep you alive in our hearts!  Peace be with you and your family always!

It's comforing to know you are now at peace and with the one that completed your life, I know in my heart you're truly happy but for those of us that you had to leave we will miss your loving ways. Mom you'll forever be in my heart and I'll miss you always.
