Frank knew no strangers and was known for his warm personality, quick wit, and love of sharing a good joke. A natural entertainer, he had a lifelong passion for music and singing. Over the years, he performed with the Webster Groves Vespers Choir, the Statesmen Singers, and the St. Louis Metro Singers. One of his fondest memories was the opportunity to sing at Carnegie Hall. Beyond music, Frank enjoyed playing bridge and was an enthusiastic fan of St. Louis sports teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Carrie Stobart; his husband, Edward “Ed” Stobart; his sister, Sue Jones; and his brother, John Stobart.
Frank is survived by his children, Julie Stobart, Brent Stobart, and Steven Stobart. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Martha Jones, Patsy Jones, Bill (Patty) Jones, and Becky Davis.
