Beloved husband of Diana Dobkin Katz for 55 years; dear father and father-in-law of the late David Katz and Daniel (Ramey) Katz; Grandfather of Ava Katz; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Benjamin (late Carol) Katz and Joel (Adrienne) Katz; brother-in-law of the late Stan (Arleen) Dobkin and Ilene (Terry) Wisniewski; dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Gary was a humble, giving selfless husband, father, brother, neighbor, and friend. He had a love of nature including gardening. Gary had a passion for creating community and uplifting others.
Funeral service Thursday January 23, 2 PM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd. 63132. (Also Available by livestream) Visitation from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Interment following at Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, 1601 North and South Rd. 63130.
