Genevieve Miller, nee Hecht, age 96, of Creve Coeur, passed away on September 9, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late William Wolf Miller; devoted mother of Shaaron Benjamin and the late Elise Miller. Loving grandmother of Brad and Adam Benjamin. Sister of the late Flo (Irwin) Hollander, Frank (Margaret) and Julius (Thelma ) Hecht. Loving Aunt and grand-aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller sang professionally as “Jeanne Renard” in the St. Louis area as a soloist in churches, on radio and local opera
She was a member of the Ladies Friday Musical Club and the AMC for cancer research.
For 26 years she was the supervisor at the Heman Park Community Center in University City. After retirement she volunteered at the St. Louis Science Center.
Mrs. Miller gifted her body to the Washington University School of Medicine for research. Memorials of the donor’s choice are appreciated
