Beloved husband of Jacqueline Mae (nee Martin), dear son of the late Joseph Soeder and Isabel (nee Eulich) Soeder. Loving father of Patricia Ann (David) Amoroso, the late John W. Soeder, Michael J. Soeder, step father of the late Clifford G. Edrington, Milton Lee Edrington and Linda Grooms. Beloved grandfather of Tanya (Chuck) Russell, Michael G. Soeder, Christine (Justin) Short, Christina (John) Sacha, Trudy (John) Brock, Johnna Lynn Soeder, step-grandfather to David Amoroso Jr, and Vince Amoroso. A great grandfather to 13, and loving brother to 15, dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. In recent years, companion and life partner to Dorothy Fritz.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, where he resided until joining the United States Airforce during the Korean War, moving to the St. Louis area upon discharge. He retired from Chrysler Corporation.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 in the funeral home chapel.
