Gerald L. Cohen

Beloved husband of 58 years of the late Frances (Weenick) Cohen. Dear son of the late Sophie (Block) Cohen and the late Max Cohen; dear brother of the late Charles, who passed away in infancy. Dear son-in-law of the late Benjamin and the late Mollie Weenick. Much-loved father of Patricia, Marc, Roger, and Deborah and father-in-law of Bruce, Jennifer, Teri, and Benjamin. Cherished grandfather of Katie (Dave), Peter (Alison), Simon, Hazel (Daniel), Anna Memphis (fiancée Jeremy), Benjamin (Anna), Sarah (Raj), and Charlotte. Dear great-grandfather of Teddy, Lazer, and Wolf. Dear brother-in-law of the late Lois Sloofman (the late Joseph), the late Beverly Schultz (the late Lloyd), and the late Lawrence Weenick. Dear uncle of Benjamin, Jane, and Carol; and Harry, John, and the late Richard.

Gerald was a graduate of Soldan High School (Class of 1944); St. Louis University (Class of1948); and Harvard Law School (Class of 1951). Gerald was a member of The Missouri Bar for 74 years and a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators for over 40 years. Gerald served on the board and as president of Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel (now Kol Rinah).

Funeral Service Monday August 31, 1:30 PM at Berger Memorial, 9430 Olive Blvd. 63132. Visitation from 1:00 to time of service. Burial to follow at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North and South Rd. 63130.
