Glennon R. Kourik Sr.

Glennon R. Kourik Sr. passed away, and received his Angel wings on November 7, 2023, at the age of 85. He was a resident of St. Peters, Missouri. Glennon was born on December 23, 1937, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to the late Dorothy Kranz and Edwin A. Kourik.

Glennon shared sixty-two years of marriage with his devoted wife, Ruby. Together, they had three children: Kimberly (Steve) Paulus, Christine (Thad) Kourik, and Glennon Jr. (Bridget) Kourik. He was also a cherished grandfather to Blake and Chase Kourik, Jaimie (Cameron) Dumser and Casey Paulus, and a treasured great-grandfather to Erica Dumser. Glenn was one of eleven children, including the late Lawrence Kourik (Gayle survives), and is survived by his siblings; Nancy (Joe) Compton, Judy Pehle, Chuck Kourik, Pam (Nick) Catrow, Dottye (Butch) Weida, Dena (the late Sam) Rostum, Erwin (Mary) Kourik, and Ramona Miller. Additionally, he leaves behind many other relatives and dear friends, all of whom will miss him greatly.

Glennon was an active member of his community and served in various organizations such as Bridgeton Masonic Lodge, Junior Achievement, and Berkeley Auxiliary Police. He was also a graduate of Lindenwood College in the year 2000.

Glennon served his country for twenty-four years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. May he rest in peace, knowing that his dedication to his country will be a lasting inscription in the pages of military history.

A visitation for Glennon will occur on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Kriegshauser Mortuary West at 9450 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO. A funeral service will occur on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 9:00 AM at the same location.
