Gloria D. Macklin was born in St. Louis, MO, on September 4, 1933, the daughter of Herman and Julia Juergens. She was proceeded in death by her husband Walter in 1992. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Walter (Jim) and Linda Macklin, Kelly and Linda Macklin, and Tracy and Michelle Macklin. Four grandsons and one granddaughter, Cory and Laurie, Christopher, Carey, Amanda, and Bradley Macklin. She was a dear sister-in-law and aunt and will be missed by her loving pet Jezebell. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday August 16 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, where the family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday August 16. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family suggest contributions to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, 1463 South 18th St., St. Louis, MO 63104. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
