

Helen was born on January 17, 1930. Her parents were Charlotte and John Manion. Helen graduated from Webster College and received her master’s degree from Washington University. She was a true pioneer as a woman in the workforce, beginning her career teaching at Webster College and then moving to successful career in sales with Tan-Tar-A resort, Marriott and St. Louis Convention and Visitors Bureau. Even more important to Helen than her career was her faith, her family and her friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Tom. She is survived by her daughters Kelly (Tim) Kleffner and Chris (Jim) Wiehl; eight grandchildren: Michael, Abby, Norman “Chip,” Matthew, Caroline, Luke, Liv and Collin; and four great grandchildren.
A memorial mass celebrating Helen’s life will be held June 13 at 11a.m. at Incarnate Word Catholic Church in Chesterfield, Missouri. A visitation will be held immediately prior to the service at 10:30a.m.
