Shinn, Homer R. Shinny At the age of 88, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on April 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Reba Delap of Cane Hill, AR and the late Elizabeth Ryan of Lebanon, KY. Survived by six children, Becca Holcomb (Dan) of Winfield, KS, Emily Shinn (Kirk Estell) of Cincinnati, OH, Catie Shinn, Phillip Shinn (Anne), David Shinn (Connie) of Quincy, IL, and Tom Shinn (Colleen) of Redondo Beach, CA. Also survived by eight grandchildren Missy Kanaga (Scott), of Grapevine, TX, Margaret Mikolajewski (Matt) of Cincinnati, OH, Sarah Shinn of Quincy, IL, Hope Shinn of Quincy, IL, Erin Shinn of Redondo Beach, CA, Andrew Shinn (Jemila Dragovic) of Brooklyn, NY, and Brendan Shinn of Redondo Beach, CA. Also survived by two greatgrandchildren, Anna Kanaga and Marshall Kanaga of Grapevine, TX. Loving brother, brother-inlaw, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Army Air Corps and Air Force pilot and civil engineer, flew in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Awarded the Bronze Star for action in Korea. Gave much of his energy and talents to the former St. Patrick Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society after retiring and moving to Olivette, MO in 1974. Proud alumni of Arkansas Tech and Texas A&M. Proud member of the Mosquitos.
