Hyman Mankowitz

Hyman Reuben Mankowitz, born on May 21, 1937, in Johannesburg, South Africa, passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Roslin (Rael) and is survived by his brother, Joseph (Juliet) Mankowitz, his loving children, Dr. Keith (Janice) Mankowitz, Leigh (Michael) Gordon, and Jenny Oberstein, his adoring grandchildren, Ari, Gabriella, Eytan, Talya, Maya, Kiera, Kelli, and David, and his wonderful great grandchildren.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on September 1st, at 4:30 PM, at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Rd., in Chesterfield.

The family requests that memorial contributions in his honor be made to Tpheris Israel Chevra Kadisha Congregation (TICK), 14550 Ladue Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017.
