Iris Salsman passed away peacefully on October 20, 2026 at the age of 79 after a valiant battle with dementia. She was the mother of Andy (Stacey) Salsman, grandmother of Victoria and Sadie Salsman and the sister of Michael (Sherry) Alpert. She was also the longtime wife of Earl Salsman.
Iris was a talented pianist, a gifted writer, and an animal lover. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her granddaughters, who knew her as their beloved “Baba.”
A graveside funeral will take place on Friday, October 23 at 11am at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Rd, St. Louis, MO 63124.
