Beloved husband for 54 years to Carol Sugerman Axelrod. Equally beloved father and father in law to Gary Paul, David Robert (Denene) and Michael Howard (Staci) Axelrod. Especially fabulous grandpa to Samantha, Ilexa, Ian and Joshua Axelrod. Wonderful and close brother and brother in law to Toni (Fred) Kodner. Dear brother in law to Jerry (Darlene) Sugerman. Our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Jack fought his battle of kidney failure and diabetes courageously and was admired by all who knew how he suffered. The family wishes to thank the fantastic nurses from BJC Hospice who helped us through this ordeal. They all deserve a hero's medal.
Funeral service Tuesday, October 4th, 11:00 AM at United Hebrew Congregation, 13788 Conway Road at Woodsmill. Visitation Tuesday, 10:30 AM at United Hebrew Congregation. Interment Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery-White Road. Memorial contributions preferred to Mid-America Transplant Services or the American Kidney Foundation.
