Jacquelyn Irene Calhoun, age 80, of South County, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Jacquelyn was born January 9, 1942 to William and Mary (Dunphy) Janechek whom have preceded her in death along with her beloved husband, Burk Calhoun and an adoring sister, Mary Ann Moore (Robert).
Jacquelyn is survived by her loving daughter, Susan (John) McClellan and her grandchildren, Alexandria and Jackson McClellan. She also leaves behind her brother, William (Chris) Janechek, Jr. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends.
Jacquelyn was a woman of a strong catholic faith. She loved spending time with her family and her daughter Susie was the light of her life. Jacquelyn also loved spending time at the casinos trying her luck on the slot machines. Jacquelyn in her younger years, enjoyed spending time with her friends and relatives, they took turns entertaining and hosting parties. Jacquelyn loved to be the life of the party dancing the night away.
A Memorial Mass is scheduled at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church at 610 Ripa Avenue St. Louis, Missouri. A Committal Service is scheduled immediately after the mass at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2900 Sheridan Road St. Louis, Missouri.
