James Richard Dickof, age 80, of Fenton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. James was born July 17, 1942 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to the late Harold and Kathryn Dickof (nee Beockman. James is the beloved husband of Pauline Dickof (nee Kennedy); loving father to James Dickof and the late John Kennedy; Loving grandfather of Jamie Kennedy and Brianna Kludjian; cherished great grandfather Evie Kludjian.
Jim moved to St. Louis at age 16 following his father’s relocation for work. He graduated from Lindbergh High School and entered the workforce. Later he joined the US Air Force and after basic training in Biloxi, MS he was stationed in England.
After his time in the Air Force, he began a career on Electronics and robotics as an Electrical engineer. He worked on many projects from mousetraps to projects with NASA. He gave many seminars over the years in Robotics and automation. He was appointed to the planning and zoning board for the City of Fenton and served for more than 20 years.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10:00 am Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO.
Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Military Honors.
