I used to work at Reliance with Jason. We got pretty close during that time, and I went to a bunch of his shows and used to talk to him pretty frequently about all kind of things. He used to come over and watch my pups when I went out of town. He was a good person. I am really taken back with this shocking news. So sad. RIP Jason.

I met Jason through my former bandmates in 2003, and I was actually in a short-lived band called The Downcasts with Jason in 2006. I had not seen Jason in many years, and fittingly, the last time I saw him was at a show. Jason was a really great, funny, and talented guy, and the news of his passing was extremely tough to hear. Rest in peace, my brother. 

My wife and I knew Jason from the Stone Spiral Coffee Shop. The last time we saw him, he was walking his dogs along Manchester Road. We pulled over to say hello, and Jason was all smiles and positivity. We chatted for a brief moment and then cruised on, not knowing that would be the last time we would see him. We are happy to have known him even briefly. 

Listening to Quadrophenia this morning in honor of my friend. I can still see him playing air guitar and lip syncing like the rock star that he was. His influence on me is something I will always treasure. We had some real good times Kohner. You will be missed and always remembered. 

May peace be with the family during this time. I knew Jason in high school.  His smile always made me happy  and he was always so very kind to me. I am very very sad to hear of his passing.  The World loses a kind soul. 

Denise, Steven and Family, what can be said, there are not words that can express the love and heartfelt warmth which your brother exuded. He was larger than life. He had no enemies only souls which, if they were lucky enough to know your brother, loved him with all they were. My sincerest condolences. Knowing him since we were both young children, and bringing Boy Scout Troop 492 out of dormancy together and oh so many other adventures throughout life!  May Jason Kohner's name be a blessing for eternity! May all who grieve be blessed by speaking his name and sharing their memories of the wonderful life he led and the souls that he touched.

Denise and Steven, sincerest condolences to you all.  As my student at North, Jason would enter class with the most friendly smile, sparkling eyes, and infectious laugh.  Even after all these years, this is how I remember Jason.  May such joyous memories help to comfort you at this sorrowful time.

I have known Jason Kohner for about 25 years (we worked at Hollywood Video together). We lost touch when I went back into the Army in 2004but got back in touch shortly before I retired in 2017. He is the first person I hung out with when I got back to St. Louis. Jason was a musicians and a movie buff. He always amazed me with his movie knowledge. Life seemed to always get in the way of us hanging out on a regular basis, but whenever I called him it was a 45 minute conversation about movies, music and his latest conspiracy theories. 

Jason was such beautiful artistic soul. We were friends in highschool and kept in touch through the years. My love, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace dear friend.
