Jason Michael Smith passed into Heaven peacefully this afternoon after a year-long fight against lung cancer. He was 32. Jason is survived by his beautiful bride Kirstie (nee Isom), daughter Zeralyn (4) and son Zayden (18mos).

He is also survived by his mother Robin Davis (nee Sanders), dad David Smith, father Glenn Taylor, brother Wolf Smith, grandmother Sue Taylor, grandparents Vernon and Shirley Sanders, Donald and Dorothy Smith, Jason is survived by half-sisters Hannah Schoneboom, Madeline and Ashton Taylor and half-brother Colton Taylor.

Jason loved riding his motorcycle with Kirstie, loving and playing with his adorable children, hanging out with friends, being part of such a large and supporting family, and lately he loved flying his drone. But above all, he enjoyed smiling, laughing, and making others smile at his quirky good nature and fearless walk through life with Kirstie by his side.

For the past 32 years, Jason has brought me more joy and laughter than any mom deserves. He has made me proud of the man he became, as well as watching him grow to be a loving husband and father. I am mostly saddened that his wife and children did not get at least the same amount of time with him as I did. There is not a day that goes by when I do not miss hearing your voice and seeing your smiling face, and I am sure there will never be such a day. I have and always will love you with all of my heart. Even though you are not here in the flesh, I give you my word that your children will know what an amazing person you are, as well as how very much you loved them, unconditionally! With all that I am, I love you eternally Jason Michel Smith and I will continue your "Walk in love"!

I did not have the privilege of meeting this handsome young man, but know his precious Grandmother Sue . I am so saddened for this family for the loss of such a wonderful person & saddened for his children to grow up without him. I have not stopped praying for you all. Less bright on earth now but Heaven is brighter with him there!! What a beautiful smile he has!! Love & Prayers!
