

Jeff was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Jeff dedicated 35 years to the City of Saint Louis Fire Department before retiring in 2023 as a Captain at Fire Engine House #22 on McCausland .
He attended Bishop DuBourg High school and continued to meet up regularly with his lifelong alum friends to go fishing, hunting, sporting events and concerts.
Family and close Friends were the heart of Jeff’s life. He and Sue especially cherished traveling with their two sons, Cory (Jenna) and Noah while creating special memories together.
He loved hosting family Fish Fries filled with good food, laughter, family and friends enjoying the fish of his labor alongside his fishing buddy Rick.
Jeff enjoyed all sports, football, basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey ,and volleyball especially rooting for Cory and Noah’s teams . Whatever the sport season brings!
Jeff experienced in his lifetime, seeing The St Louis Blues finally winning The Stanley Cup!
Jeff was a passionate outdoorsman. If you knew him,you knew his deep love for fishing and hunting duck, dove, and goose.
Jeff is survived by his dear wife, Sue of 37 years of marriage , sons Cory (Jenna ) and Noah .
Brother Gary (Charlotte), Brother in Law, Bob Alman of Arizona.
Jeff was predeceased by his parents Greg and Evelyn, brothers Mike and Bruce, along with his mother and father in law, Bob and Diane Alman.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept 9,2026 at St.Raphael the Archangel Church ,6000 Jamieson Avenue, St.Louis,Mo 63109 at 12:00 noon.
Family asks attendees to wear "casual" fire department or camo attire in honor of Jeff, who was not a suit kind of guy.
