Jerry N. Cornell

Ret. Maj. Jerry N. Cornell U.S. Army Corps of Engineers passed away on April 13, 2018 at the age of 78. He is the beloved husband of the late Jeanette Cornell. Jerry was born in Springfield, Ill., the son of the late Samuel J. and Dorothy A Cornell (nee Senf). He is the dear father of Steve Cornell, Kathy Guthrie, Mike Cornell and Sharon Smith; loving grandfather of Jessica, Jamin, Coriann, Sean, Micah, Adam and Amaris; and beloved brother of Bill and David Cornell. Jerry retired after 22 years of service in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a man of faith who was involved in many church activities.

Funeral Service 1:30 pm Wednesday, April 18, Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St Louis, Mo. 63125. Visitation is from 10:30 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
