JoAnn Bean

JoAnn Bean was born in Bloomington, IL on March 31, 1958, the daughter of Kenneth and Donna Jean (Blunk) Bean. She was a 1976 graduate of LeRoy High School. In 1980 she received her BS degree from Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL. JoAnn was employed, for 30 years, with Nestle Purina, was a member of the LeRoy, IL, Christian Church and the Ralston Golf League. She enjoyed music, golf, travel, hiking, and fishing. JoAnn was a beloved sister and friend to, Graycie Bean, Linda Ramey, Dennis (Carol) Bean, Pam Payne, Sharon (Butch) Sanders, Jim (Janell) Ramey, Harold (Chris) Ramey, and Keith (Diane) Ramey. Loving aunt to, Teri, Kelly, Kimberly, Jennifer, Lisa, Greg, Becky, Bill, Ben, Seth, Anna, John, and Brittany. Dear niece of, Grayce Lambrecht, Ruth Schirer, Blanche and Bill Dunbar, and Ruby Bean. She also leaves behind 17 cousins and numerous Blunk and Evelsizer relatives and a multitude of friends. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday December 18 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel where the family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday December 17. Interment in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, IL at 2:00 P.M. Saturday. In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Barnes-Jewish Foundation of Neurology, 1 Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63110.
