Beloved husband of Peggy Woodworth (nee Norris); dear father of Alison (Michael) Woodworth DeSalvo, and John N. (JoAnne) Woodworth; dear grandfather of Sofia and Louis DeSalvo; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
John loved being at Carlyle Lake whether he was sailing with family and friends, or running regattas. He had a joke for every occasion and will always be remembered for his wit. He brought a smile to the face of all those he met.
Services: A Memorial Visitation will be at Kriegshauser West, 9450 Olive Blvd. on Wednesday, September 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 10, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Lindell Blvd. at Grand Ave. at 11:00 am.
Memorials to the Jr. Carlyle Sailing Association or the American Cancer Society appreciated.
