JOYCE ANN OTTOMEYER (nee Merlo), 84, died April 28, 2026, Festus, MO. Born on August 26, 1941 to the late Louis Merlo, Jr. and Sharon Merlo in the City of St. Louis. She is survived by daughters Jean Somers, Nancy (William) Balloni, and Sharon (Travis) Floyd; grandchildren Jessica, Jennifer, Joseph (Leaan), Julianna (Alex), Jeremy, Faith, and Kaylee; great-grandchildren Isla, Emersyn, Wrenley, and Callum. She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Merlo.
Joyce was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She will be truly missed by all.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110, US, on May 1, 2026, at 10:00 am.
A Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 MacKenzie Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123, US, on May 1, 2026, at 11:15 am.
