

Judy Lee Pogorelsky, 80 years old, died at home in DeSoto, MO on January 22nd surrounded by her family following a long battle with Dementia She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Alan J Pogorelsky, her daughters, Susan, Sharon, Stephanie, and Samantha and her five grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Michael, Kalkidan, and Gracie.
Judy was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and was preceded in death by her beloved mother in law, Lillie Pogorelsky, parents, Alberta and Nathan Poteet, and brother, Roger Poteet. She is survived by her sister, Lynda Teague.
Early in her career she enjoyed being a flight attendant for Ozark Airlines and a shoe model, before serving at AT&T as a communications technician. She was a gifted seamstress, talented baker and incredible mother.
Whether riding on the back of a Harley with the love of her life, Alan, or a Vespa in Italy, Judy lived bravely for adventure and fun.
She left a legacy of kindness and infectious joy until her death.
Graveside service Wednesday, January 24th, 11:30 AM at B’nai Amoona Cemetery 930 North and South Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org) are welcomed.
