Age 87, beloved husband of Hope Edison; cherished father and father-in-law of Mark (Ilaina) Edison and Aaron Edison; loving grandfather of Sam and Isabel Edison; son of the late Mark and the late Ida Edison; brother and brother-in-law of the late Evelyn (Eric) Newman; brother-in-law of Jane Rabb; our uncle, cousin and friend.
A Harvard graduate and lifelong St. Louis businessman, Julian was devoted to his family and his city—and was passionate about books, art, education, Mozart, chocolate and a good joke.
Funeral service Thursday, May 11, 12:00 pm at Congregation Temple Israel, Ladue and Spoede Roads. No visitation prior to service. Private family interment. Memorial contributions preferred to the Saint Louis Art Museum, 1 Fine Arts Drive (63110) or the Radio Arts Foundation, 7711 Carondelet Avenue #322 (63105).
