Kenneth James Gebhardt

GEBHARDT, Kenneth “Kenny” James, 72 of Warrenton and formally of St. Louis on September 25, 2014. Beloved husband for 50 years of Katherine (nee Nickel) Gebhardt; loving father of Tamara Gebhardt, Angela (Brent) Creg, Barbara Gerdel and the late Rebecca Gebhardt; dear Pawp of Dustin Lewis, Tyler Lewis, Allison Creg, Maelina Gerdel, Madaline Gerdel and Lilly Creg; dear brother of Mary Seitz, Judy Zinselmeier, the late Clarence Gebhardt, the late Russell Gebhardt and the late Alois Zinselmeier; dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Ken "Peaches" joined the St. Louis Police Departmented he day President Kennedy was shot. He retired on September 14, 1987. He also worked part time for St. Louis Shipyards, Crandolette Foundry & McDonald Douglas. After he retired he went full time at McDonald Douglas / Boeing. He was loved by so many people that called him Pawpa Ken. He is greatly missed already.

Visitation 1-7 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment Mt Hope Cemetery. If desired contributions may be made to Friedens U.C.C Church, 313 E.
