Lawrence Conrad Kettinger, Jr., age 97, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, MO on November 7, 1925, to the late Lawrence C. and Hazel A. (nee Major) Kettinger Sr.; beloved husband of the late Helen A. Kettinger (nee Sweet); loving father of Lawrence C. Kettinger, III, John Paul Kettinger and the late Karl Louis Kettinger; loving grandfather of Christopher Karl (Mallory) Kettinger, Katherine Ann (Jimmy) Kettinger, Susan (Dan) Brinkley Trout, Scotty Wayne (Kristen) Brinkley, Catherine Annette (Matt) Brinkley; great grandfather of Terence (Ariella), Brianna (Matt) and Ryland; dear brother of the late Alice Lou Craig.
Lawrence was a member of the Eagles, American Legion and the Hugh Purvis Reunion Association.
A visitation for Lawrence will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, January 12, 2023, 8:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO.
Memorial donations in Lawrence's Honor may be made to the Hugh Purvis Reunion Association.
