Linda, along with husband Marty, was always one of our dearest supporters and concert-goers, and donated yearly to St. Louis Classical Guitar in support of our programs for underserved students. We share everyone's sadness at Linda's passing. It was always a joy to speak to her. Our sincere condolences to Marty on this heartbreaking loss .


When Linda did not send me an early Season's Greetings card, I knew something was wrong.  We worked together many,  many years ago in an ad agency in Manhattan.   She was the most cheerful person in the office.  She was bright and beautiful.  I'm sure many people will miss her.

Marty, I was very sorry to hear of your loss.  I remember talking to Linda sometimes when I called your office.  Of course she was always by your side at social functions such as the one in which you invited Robert and I to join you and Linda at your table at the Mercy Children's Hospital Fund Raising dinner.    I know that she will be dearly missed.

We have known Linda for 15 years.  She was the sweetest kindest person in the word..  She cared so much about us , my kids.  We truly loved her and will forever miss her.

Over the last two weeks, I have been recalling the countless fond memories I have of Linda.  One of my strongest, was that beautiful harpsicord, and hearing Linda play it.  I shared that memory with my own music students decades later.  (I also remember Pesach at our house and Grandma Sally's memorable contributions to Chad Gadya every year.)  Linda was nothing but a model of kindness and poise in everything she did and sought to do in life.  Marty, Laura, Adam, and Jenny, I am so very sorry for your loss.  We look forward to a time when we can come visit and reminisce together.

Like so many who spoke at the service about Linda’s warmth and energy, I too, was touched by the feeling of genuine  welcoming she engendered in her hellos, her smiles, her bright eyes, even in our fleeting contacts. Her love for her mother, her children and for you Martin, were certain in her words and the way she looked at you all. Our condolences and love to my dear cousin Martin, Adam, Laura and the grandchildren, spouses and family and friends who loved the beautiful  Linda Bell.  

Linda was lovely inside and out. I remember when she first came into our family. Morris and Mae were thrilled with good reason as was the rest of our family. 

We immediately loved the warm, friendly, vivacious, funny and caring Linda who just sparkled.She brought with her the devotion to her mother Sally who was welcomed too. 

May Linda’s memory be a blessing.

Linda was our neighbor and friend for five years. She and Marty showed us such great kindness. We felt like we knew each other much longer. We both had COVID last summer and who stepped up with dropped off soup and offers to pick up anything needed. Of course it was Linda. We will truly miss her but will be there for Marty.
