Linda Joy Israel

Linda was born on September 14th,1948, in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Roosevelt High School and lived in St. Louis most of her life.

She was an avid bingo player and loved to go to the casino boats but swore she never won anything. She enjoyed music and would sing to all of her grandkids. Linda had a big heart and spent most of her life caring for others. If anyone needed a place to stay, Linda had a spot for them. She loved her diet Pepsi and was a wonderful cook. Linda loved spending time with friends and family, especially her precious grandkids.

Linda is survived by her sisters Janet Ward and Robin Rose, her sons Joseph “Buzzy” Israel, Sean Tabares and Craig Nash, daughters Mandy Nash and Miranda Tabares, grandchildren C.J., Savanna, Ryan, Paige, Peyton, Caleb, Cheyenne, Meiko, Shaelyn, Breana, Kylee, Skylar and Mateo, and great grandchildren Genairo and Kaleeah. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Virginia LaChance and Bill “Izzy” Israel, and her beloved brother Joe Israel.

A visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.

Funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, May 25, 2024,12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
