

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Porter; her brother, Dwight Porter; and her nieces, Michelle Porter and Crystal Porter.
Lolet is survived by her nieces, Sherry Porter and Minnie Porter; 13 grand nieces and nephews; 10 great-grand nieces and nephews; her husband, Hallie Williams; and a host of loving friends who will cherish her memory and miss her dearly.
She was a devoted member of Word of Grace Church where she professed a hope in Jesus Christ and later joined Transforming Word Church where she would spend her last years in fellowship with friends and growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Her dedication and compassion were also recognized through two awards she received for her outstanding work with the Boys and Girls Club.
Beyond her service to others, Lolet had a love for life that was truly infectious. She loved being around food. She loved serving food to others, and she loved her dog, Diamond, a Shih Tzu that stayed with her for almost 15 years and became a great companion. She also enjoyed watching television, spending time with loved ones, and finding joy in the simple moments each day brought. Her kindness, spirit, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
