Dear Jeff,

Our brief friendship with Lori was a blessing to us and she will be missed dearly. Through all of the pain and medicine she displayed a grace and dignity that is a shining example of what a humble servant of God she was.
The love and affection you two shared was infectious and fun to watch. Pam and I still comment on that. I hope you know we are both here for you and want to help you during this time of transition. We love you and will be praying for you always.

I did not know Lori personally, but I have known Jeff for years, and I've known few people who have shown more courage and equanimity in the face of a spouse's death. Jeff is a solid member of our community; we wouldn't want to do without him. I know he sorely wishes he didn't have to make do without Lori. Let's all of us wish him peace, good health, and not forget how Jeff's seemingly unbounded energy gives us all the more reason for loving our lives. I know Lori left a void for him. We can not hope to fill it, but we can do our best at standing beside him during this exhausting and challenging period as Jeff makes an adjustment from those many years of waiting to what will be many years of always learning better how to cherish those many memories.

Jeff, I was sorry to learn of Lori's passing today. I was glad that I had the opportunity to get to know her through Toastmasters. She was truly an inspiration to those who had the pleasure to know her or hear her speak at the Bulls & Bears Toastmasters Club

Jeff, please know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. You stood by Lori and held her hand. You understood what was at stake and you took time to travel, which I know she loved to do. I saw the photos of the many beautiful places you visited and how that must have brought some peace and awe inspiring closeness to God. You study the options, you learned the terminology and you cared for Lori as she fought the fight. I pray for your personal strength, healing and guidance. Lesa Pearson

Lori, we had some good laughs together, a few tears and many smiles. We enjoyed many conversations together that were always thought provoking. We both shared similar interests, a love of animals, gardening and of course Coach purses – especially that one time of year they go on sale. I enjoyed spending time with you and Jeff over the past several years with our trips to City Coffee and Sushi. Not to mention the wine tasting at your house. I was especially thankful when I would water the plants while you took vacation and they all were still green and growing when you returned – knowing I have no green thumb. I've been heartbroken over these last few years but you always showed unimaginable courage. You now are shining down on us from above and the love you shared with all of us here on earth will remain a part of us. I want to thank you for your personal impact you had on my life and the permanent imprint you left here on earth. God Bless and Keep You. Lesa Pearson
