Preceded in death by her husband, William David DiLeo on January 24, 2002. She is survived by their children, Heather Ann, Margaret Munro (Greg) Flores, and William Hunter; also her DiLeo brothers Charles Thomas (Melanie) and Robert Anthony (Julia).
Marjory was born in Glasgow, Scotland on November 24, 1939, to James and Marjory (Munro) Delaney, the youngest and last remaining of their five children, Clifford John (Eileen), Gertrude Mabel (James) Pearston, Elizabeth Mary (John), Devitt, and James (Bridget).
For the major part of Marjory’s life, St. Louis was her home, coming here to live in 1967, marrying David that year and together raising their three children. She treasured them and the many friends she made. She always remained true to her roots. Visits to that other home, “Scotland”, to be with family, relatives, and old friends were very special: “A Refresher Course” she would say, but it was always so good to come back to her “Adopted Home, St. Louis.
Over the years Marjory gave generously of her time and talents to many local charities, her children’s schools and endeavors, volunteering to help in any way she could. Last and not in the very least, she was active and loved her Parish Home, Our Lady of the Pillar.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Catholic Charities of St. Louis, www.ccstl.org appreciated.
