

Marlene Edna Pietroburgo, daughter of the late Arthur & Carrie (nee Heinze) Boedeker was born October 12, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri. She entered into rest February 21, 2024 at the age of eighty-eight years.
On September 8, 1956, she was married in St. Louis to Biagio Pietroburgo. Before her retirement, Marlene was an executive secretary at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical Company for 20 years.
Mrs. Pietroburgo was a parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church of Florissant, MO for 33 years, St. James Catholic Church of Millstadt, IL for 21 years, and of St. Mark Catholic Church of Lemay, MO for 5 years.
She is survived by 5 children: Stephen Pietroburgo and his wife, Kimberly (nee Haegen) of Colville, WA, Gregory Pietroburgo and his wife, Linda (nee Fleming) of Creve Coeur, MO, Patricia Pietroburgo of Affton, MO, Joseph Pietroburgo and his wife, Takako (nee Nomi) of Webster Groves, MO, and Philip Pietroburgo and his wife, Jill (nee Sullivant) of West Plains, MO; former mother-in-law of Annie (nee Caldwell) Pietroburgo; 10 grandchildren, Biagio Pietroburgo and Olivia Pietroburgo of Colville, WA, Anthony Pietroburgo and his wife, Lindsay (nee Sorack) of Creve Coeur, MO, Addison Pietroburgo and his wife, Breann (nee Randle) of Webster Groves, MO , Oscar Pietroburgo of Chicago, IL, Arthur Pietroburgo of Maplewood, MO, Layla Linehan and her partner, Blaise Pastoret of University City, MO, Jesse Pietroburgo and his wife, Madelyn (nee Kelly) of Deland, FL, Grace Schierling and her husband, Malachi of West Plains, MO, and Samuel Pietroburgo of West Plains, MO; 7 great grandchildren, Carter Naylor and Collin Naylor, both of Colville, WA, Mario Pietroburgo and Gabriella Pietroburgo, both of Creve Coeur, MO, Milo Pietroburgo of Webster Groves, MO, Hazel Pastoret and Marguerite Pastoret of University City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws and by many friends!
Her parents and sister, Carol Ann Koeberl preceded her in death.

SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Thursday February 29, 2024, Hoffmeister South County Chapel,1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, Mo 63125 and 9am Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 610 Ripa Ave., Lemay, MO 63125.
Interment to follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
