Beloved husband of Sandra Cohen Sher; dear father and father-in-law of Brian (Debbie) Sher and Joyce (Larry) Opinsky; dear grandfather of Andrew and Joel Sher, Lilly and Sam Opinsky; dear son of the late Phillip and the late Ceil Sher; dear son-in-law of the late Adolph and the late Bette Cohen; dear brother-in-law of Harvey (Betty Ann) Cohen; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.
Marvin loved his family deeply and was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed being a docent at the St. Louis Zoo for more than 15 years. He also loved giving tours for Forest Park Forever and sharing his love of the park. Marvin was also a dedicated member of the 1904 World’s Fair Society.
Visitation Friday, October 21st 11:30 AM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd, followed by funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Interment Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery 7500 Olive Blvd. Marvin would wish donations to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation in honor of his beloved granddaughter, P.O.
