

Mary-Jo Buescher passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born April 4, 1944, to Raymond and Josephine (nee: Hough) Snyder. They have preceded her in death, as has her daughter M. Teresa Hiatt (James Hiatt II survives). She is survived by: her children: Margaret Walsh (Thomas "Wally"), Michael Becker (Kay), Madonna Esposito (Brian); her grandchildren: James Hiatt III (Nichole), Michael Hiatt (Ali), Jennifer Hiatt (Tracy), Daniel Walsh, Kenneth Walsh, Anthony Hallman, Chelsea Hallman, Ashlea Roe, Patricia Becker, Brittany Boston, Angela Boston; her great-grandchildren: James IV, Isaiah, Ava, Ella, Olivia, Oliver, August, Finley, Lucy; her sister Margaret Autry; and other relatives and friends.
Mary-Jo enjoyed her career as a commodities broker, dealing in copper and various other metals. Her children gave her the nickname "The copper queen". She was a Cub Scout den leader and girl scout troop leader, a member of and volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and formerly a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church. She also volunteered at Mary Grove. She loved being outdoors and gardening. She also loved travelling for work and with her family. Mary-Jo enjoyed working puzzles with anyone, and liked to make quilts. She loved watching western movies - especially those with John Wayne. She was an amazing cook, and loved ice cream and Burger King Whoppers.
Mary-Jo loved animals, especially her dogs and grand dogs. Therefore, her family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
