Mary was the loving wife of the late Fred Murray, Sr.; beloved mother Susan Schober, Fred Murray, Jr., Kevin Murray, and Amy (Dan Doherty) Murray; cherished grandmother of Christopher Schober, Jamie (Kenny) Schafer, Ashley (Jimmy) Farris, Blake Schober, Brett Schober, Andrew Murray, Emily Murray, Sarah Murray, Eric Murray, and the late Brian Murray; devoted great-grandmother of 9; dear sister of Eleanor (Louis) Trost; a dear aunt, great-aunt, and a friend to many in her lifetime.
Mary was born in Saint Louis to Clarence and Anna Szarzynski. She liked playing cards and going to bingos. She married Fred in 1961 and raised their family in Saint Louis. She very proud of being a woman union machinist for many years until her retirement. Mary was smart and funny.
She liked to have a good time with family and friends. She lost Fred in 2018 and missed him until the day she died. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Friday, January 19 from 10am until noon at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, 63125. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at noon in the Chapel. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.
