Mikey loved his family above all else. He especially cherished spending time with his son, enjoying outdoor adventures like bike rides, fishing, exploring creeks, and playing sports together.
He also had a passion for arm wrestling and video games. Recently reunited with his daughter, Madelyn, Mikey was deeply looking forward to continuing to build that special bond with her.
Known for his bright smile that could light up any room—and his larger-than-life personality that could fill it with laughter—Mikey had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He loved joking with those closest to him, often teasing his mom about her “lemon pepper steppers” or playfully calling his sister-in-law “Big Titty City”—just a few of the many hilarious things he would say that kept everyone around him smiling. You could always count on leaving his presence laughing.
A true gentle giant, Mikey would help anyone in need and made people feel welcome wherever he went. One of the many ways he showed his love was through humor, often reminding his son to brush his teeth “or he wouldn’t get a girlfriend,” a phrase that will be remembered with smiles for years to come.
Mikey’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
