Norma Elinor Albertin Chapman

CHAPMAN, Norma Elinor (nee Albertin) 85 of St. Louis, passed away on January 5, 2016. Norma was the beloved wife of 64 years to Donald Chapman. Norma was the daughter of the late Otto and Martha (nee Wendt) Albertin She was the loving mother of Susan Chapman and the late Linda Huff and dear sister of Bill Albertin.

Norma grew up in Maplewood and graduated from Maplewood High School. She met Don at the wedding of her cousin. She and Don were members of the bridal party and the rest was history. Norma worked for 38 years as a cosmetic consultant for Mary Kay. Norma and Don for several years were members of Zion Lutheran Church, where they were married. Later, they moved their membership to Peace Lutheran Church. While being active at Peace Lutheran, she and Don were still members of the Zion Lutheran Seniors Club.

SERVICES: There will be a visitation from 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. The funeral Service will follow the visitation 10: 00 a.m. in the Church. Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
