Patricia J. Abeln, age 90, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday March 9, 2020. Patricia was born January 4, 1930 in Saint Louis, Missouri. The loving wife of the late Robert C. Abeln, and daughter of the late Edgar and Hazel Hoffman (née Minter).
Patricia is survived by her children Dennis Abeln, Mike (Darlene) Abeln, Steve Abeln, Robyn (David) Boren and Robert (Sallee) Abeln. She was the proud grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 29. She was also a loving aunt, cousin and dear friend.
Patricia was preceded in death by not only her husband and parents, but also her only brother Ed (Lil) Hoffman, her son Richard (Debra) Abeln, and her dear grandson Danny Boren.
The visitation for Patricia is on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Johns United Church of Christ, 11333 St. Johns Church Rd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63123. The funeral service follows at 11:00 AM. Following the funeral, the committal is in Mount Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125.
