Earlier this week, Paula Jean Lazaroff passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband, sister, stepson, and stepdaughter. She was 59 years old and had been battling cancer for the past two months. She was beautiful without pretense, gracious without demands, proud without vanity, and, most of all, loving without prejudice or judgment.
Vital and vibrant, Paula was the Director of Talent Services at Signature Cruise Experiences, a position she held for over 15 years. Beloved by her colleagues at the office and the performers she administered, Paula was driven to achieve excellence in every aspect of her duties. Always on top of things, never without a solution to a problem, and both kind and loving of the folks who were her teams for so many years.
Paula loved working out, playing tennis, cooking, spending time with her girlfriends, and attending to her home. She was a loving wife, and, in recent years, she became a devoted step grandmother to Sloan Rose and Rory Michael Lazaroff, son and daughter of her stepson, David. And she was in constant contact with her stepdaughter, Jessica, who resides in Utah. Paula’s sister, Sue, and brother, Chris, were dear to her always as were their children and grandchildren.
A memorial service and visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Boulevard, 63132 at 1 PM. Visitation begins at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made to the Paula Jean Lazaroff Fund at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
