BURTON RUSSELL DEAN, 60, of St. Louis, passed away, May 22, 2015. He was beloved husband of Kathy (Boyster) Burton; dear son of the late Robert and Joan (Harper) Burton; loving father of Michael Boyster, Ryan Burton, Melissa Burton and Nick (Kelly) Burton; dear Poppy of Hailey Burton, Skye Boyster, Nicholas Burton, Molly Burton, Sean Burton, Peyton Woltering and Aria Cooper; beloved brother of Larry Burton, Gary Burton, Reba Lomax and Roberta Burton; dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Russell was an extraordinary metal polisher. He owned Charles Herrien Services and worked polishing metal locally and nationally. His work included polishing the letters for the New World Trade Center in New York, window frames on the Gateway Arch, clocks for Anheuser Busch and small jobs like the chrome seat rings on many bar stools.
Russell enjoyed his pizza, Pepsi, and overly sweet tea. He always had a sweet tooth for jelly bellys and chocolate. He loved bowling and roller skating. His theory for teaching his kids to skate was takin them to the middle of the roller rink and telling them to skate. He loved kids and always got a thrill out of making them laugh with his Donald Duck voice.
He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
