Passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved Father of Stacy Ellen (Eric Hurst) Rich and Scott Michael (Jeffrey Ebert) Rich; Lifelong partner of Barbara Ann Cook and former husband of Susan Rich; Brother of Geraldine Sandler, Myra Snell, the late Ronald Rich and the late Linda James; Loving Son of the late Max and Rose Rich; Uncle, Cousin and cherished friend to many.
Sanford Rich was a big personality who lived life on his own terms and made an impression on everyone he met. Rich and his family owned and operated the Overland Dairy prior to Sanford opening Kopperman's Specialty Foods & Delicatessen in the Central West End, inviting customers to "Taste A Bit of The World" for over 30 years.
He will be dearly missed.
Visitation for Sanford will be Sunday, July 12 from 10:30 to 11 AM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd. 63132. Funeral Service at 11 AM (Also Available by Livestream). Burial will follow at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Rd. 63124.
