Scott was born on December 26, 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri, to William and Mona Marsden. A graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School and Columbia College, he was a hardworking man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine passion for helping others. Above all, Scott was a fiercely loyal friend, devoted father, loving son, and caring brother. Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will be cherished forever by all who knew him. His greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his daughter, Nica, who was truly the light of his life.
Scott is survived by his parents, William and Mona Marsden; his beloved daughter, Nica; his brothers, Brendan and Vincent; and his sister, Monica.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Aronson Fine Arts Center at Laumeier Sculpture Park, Sunset Hills.
