I had a horrible childhood, truly awful. When I finally cut my abusive parents out of my life she lovingly took me in as her own and constantly reminded me that I was loved and showered me with affection that I had never really received from my own family. 

A truly amazing person who I will cherish forever. Thank you for making me feel loved.

I can only imagine the sorrow and sense of loss her husband and children are experiencing. I pray that the memory of her love, comfort, encouragement, patience and courage will motivate your praise and gratitude to Hashem for having lived in the light of her life. For myself I was deeply, deeply saddened by word of her passing. I would have liked to visit with her once more!

Selina was only unendingly kind to me and my family, when my father was diagnosed with cancer she donated to Israeli soldiers in his name.
Every message of hers was filled with strength, love, and passion.

Selina was a light that was gone too soon. It was an honor to experience her presence. BDE, sending love and warmth.

Dear Rovinsky family.  I’m so sorry for your loss.  I am a distant cousin.  Selina’s mother was my second cousin.  Geraldine, Paul Samuel and Selina came to visit us in Show Low , Arizona when Samuel was about four  and Selina was about two as I remember.    I have communicated with Saara via Ancestry about family information.  It seems Selina was a well loved person.  Praying for your peace and comfort at this time.

Baruch Dayan Emes. There are so many amazing memories I have of Selina. She ran her home in such a patient and kind way, created the most beautiful tables for yomtovim and Shabbos, and showed so much love for everyone who entered her life. It was a zchus to spend so much time in her home and learn from her. She had an amazing sense of humor, so much compassion and patience. There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful she was and the positive impact she had on me and so many others. She will be missed tremendously.
