
Sidney Lust was born December 6th, 1946 in Washington D.C., and died July 26th, 2017 with his daughter by his side. He is survived by his daughter Sarah Lust (husband Michael Gramlich), grandson Elliot Gramlich, mother Lila Grossman, brothers and sisters; Bernard Lust, Samuel Lust, Lisa Lust and Bradley Lust and several nieces and nephews. Sidney was an artist known especially for his geometric figures, wood burning designs and block prints. During his years in Connecticut he was an active member of the Derby Friends of the Library, a skilled competitive chess player and talented harmonica player. During his final years living with his daughter and son-in-law in Missouri he especially loved spending time with his grandson. Rabbi Jon Hausman, Sid’s cousin, will be officiating the graveside service at 11AM, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Rodeph Sholom Memorial Park Cemetery, 183 Kings Highway East, Fairfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Reform Congregation, 5020 Waterman Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri, 63108.
