Teresa Bolf

Teresa Bolf (nee Guzman), a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on January 7, 1947, Edinberg, TX to the late Gregorio and Francisca Guzman (nee Ybarra).

Teresa Bolf was mother to Doris (Lloyd) Waddell, a cherished grandmother to Maria (Nathan) Bruns and Maribel Garcia, a beloved sister to Juanita (Andres)Franco, Alvaro (Anna - deceased) Guzman, Sylvestre (Joyce) Guzman, Pedro (Lolang) Guzman and Gumesindo (Ruth) Guzman. Teresa was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by Francisca Castillo (Guzman), Palamona Guzman, Rosita Guzman, Jesse Guzman, Martina Wade (Guzman) and Bonnie Guzman.

One of twelve children, Teresa was a woman of faith, incredible strength, and a generous heart. Her passion for education lead her to retire as a teacher having taught elementary and secondary education with a dedication to guiding the younger generation. Teresa was a life long learner, holding multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Education.

When life was challenging, she faced it with determination and never lost her trust in God. She prayed often for those going through difficult times, gave to charities that helped others, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Teresa's love for her family never wavered. She held her daughter and granddaughters close to her heart. Teresa shared a close bond with her sisters and enjoyed spending time with her extended family whenever she could.

Teresa will be remembered for her faith, her strength, her caring heart, and the love she gave to those around her.

A Committal Service will be held at Mount Olive Cemetery, 3906 Mt Olive Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 11:30 am., family and friends may meet at the cemetery.
