Vincent Frank Italiano age 82 passed away Thursday April 7, 2022. Born November 11, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Frank and Katie Italiano (nee Mataya). Vincent was the devoted and loving husband to Delores Ann Italiano (nee McCoy); loving father to Deborah (Alan) Ramsey, Susie (Scott) Merrick, Ken (Cheri) Italiano and Curtis Italiano; cherished grandfather to Kayla, Mindy, Vince, Bess, Evelyn and Nicholas; loving brother to Kathy Fanetti (Roger); dear uncle to Kandy and Diane; our dear friend who will be greatly missed.
Vincent in his early days ran the family owned Dixie Cream Donut Shop located off of Manchester Road. He was also a long time employee of United Parcel Service (UPS), he retired from there as a manger after many years of dedicated service. In his retirement years, Vince played golf and enjoyed helping and giving pointers to others. He had great sayings- "Hit 'em straight, Drive for show putt for dough, Oh Vince You coward". Active with the Metro Senior Golf Association where he was president and secretary. He also had a thing for finding golf balls when he was out golfing and taking them home cleaning them up and donating them to schools. In his early life, he had a love for bowling just as he had for golf. He was on "Bowling for Dollars" has even bowled a few 300 games. Vince was a very positive man who always seemed to have a smile on his face. However, of all the things in his life, the thing that brought his the most joy was his family, especially his grand kids.
